A petition AGAINST the trail went out a few weeks ago. I tried my hardest to answer any concerns on our public Facebook group (fish creek recreation trail). We had already started construction and the clearing of the county owned right of way. It is LEGAL for ANYONE to walk that. We have a signed letter from the commissioners stating you can be on county property. The trail does NOT plan to go over the railroad tracks. The trail would begin on 200 S and cross over the marsh that (TEM FISH LAKE) has agreed to donate and into the woods onto the county owned right of way. Plans for share the roadways signs, lights, grants, and possible playgrounds are in the future.
