The Islamic Republic of Iran is committing systematic human rights violations and crimes against humanity against its own people. Peaceful and diplomatic measures have failed. Under the principle of Responsibility to Protect (R2P), urgent international military action is required to stop mass violence and protect Iranian civilians.
