Rooster Teeth is already a very diverse company along with the characters in their shows. Camp Camp is not exclusive to that with their main character, Max, who is a POC ( person of color ) and there is even already LGBT representation with Ered's two fathers. 

The request being made is to further the representation and even go the length to make the main character, Max, a representation of the LGBT community on top of being a POC. Shows are starting to become more open with having LGBT characters amongst their cast and further diversity, however they're usually side characters ( it's already a big step from where we were! ) and there is yet to be a more prominent, lead gay/bisexual character. The reason Max would be such a good candidate is because he is already a diverse character who goes further than typical stereotypes -- it would be even more considering he'd be more than the gay stereotypes the media portrays.

Rooster Teeth is a good candidate to pave the way because they already go above and beyond in being all inclusive and do pay attention to their audience and their wants; we feel it could be taken a step further for both the benefit of Rooster Teeth's growth as well as changing the media for the better.

A main, gay, POC character would help others feel even more included and attached with a main character they can relate to. The community is much bigger than people happen to think; many are more sheltered about their feelings because of what the media has shown for decades now of LGBT people and to have a main character who isn't solely known for being an LGBT character and is loved for more than just their sexuality would be such a huge impact on so many as well as an eye opener that everyone in the community is any other person like everyone else.

There is a large portion of the fanbase for Camp Camp who are apart of the LGBT community, so to make these changes, even if minor details, would leave a big impact on a whole community as well as change the media piece by piece. 

Reiterating on why Max is a good candidate:

• He's the main character of the show
• Max already extends past so many stereotypes
• Many look for being able to relate to main characters and main characters are mostly straight which is not something they can relate to
• He would be more than just ¨an LGBT character¨
• Max is already a person of color which isn't common for main characters
• He hasn't shown any interest in any other characters and he's still young so nothing is set in stone 

Representation is extremely vital and it cannot be stressed enough. If Rooster Teeth is willing to take notice ( and hopefully action ) to this plea and request, it would mean so much to so many.
