Bring Back the Old Flintstone's Multivitamin Formula

The Issue

I started taking Flintstone Multivitamins when I was a young child because my doctor said I should. They tasted good and I looked forward to taking them every morning because they tasted good and I knew they had nutrients in them. Everything was good until recently.

Recently Bayer changed the formula for the vitamins and it has had a clearly negative impact on the taste. They now taste like pure chemicals and it is hard to say they even taste edible now. Parents on Amazon and Flintstone Vitamin's dedicated website also agree based on their recent reviews. According to most parents, it is easier to get a child to eat something if it tastes good. A lot of children seem to not be willing to eat the new Flintstones vitamins. The other problem with the new formula is a reduction in iron and some other nutrients. While some nutrients may have more representation, other important nutrients such as iron have decreased content. Also, the vitamins are no longer gluten-free. While this has no impact on me, there are children with Celiac disease who also need to get supplemented nutrients.

I call on Bayer and Miles Laboratories to bring back the old formula. The old formula was perfect and has helped millions of children get the nutrients they need. They say "don't change a winning game." You had a winning game, so why did you change it? We don't want this "free of _____" nonsense (with the exception of gluten, tree nuts, and other allergens).

Bring back the old formula, so children want the vitamins for the taste and the nutrients!
