The Issue

We need your help to bring koko home! Koko, her sister kitty and family are valued members of Rottweilers of Australia and we are rallying to support help bring Koko home.

Koko was involved in an unfortunate incident in a dog park resulting in a nip wound to a womans hand. Koko was not being aggressive and it is thought she was being playful and trying to get a plastic bag that was in the woman's hand and missed. Koko has an impeccable history of good behavior and is very well trained. Koko belongs to her loving human family who have extensively trained her and love her so very much. Koko provides emotional support within the faintly unit, particularly to her human brother who is autistic. Visiting Koko at the pound is less than ideal however the family appreciates the staff and their efforts in facilitating visiting times. Koko is well known in the community and also a regular at the dog park - there have never been any other incidents or indication of bad or aggressive behavior. Koko has currently been seized by the local council whom will further investigate the incident. The injured woman and her husband did report the incident to the council but Koko's owner also took it upon themself to reported the incident willingly and is being very open and accommodating.

Regardless of breed, this is clearly an unfortunate accident and we need to help get Koko home to her family. Koko and her family do not deserve this. Koko is understandably very anxious whilst in the care of the pound and her family is missing her immensely. Please add your signature and stand with us in our effort to free Koko.
