This is a letter that the Public Defender here in Napa, CA gives to her clients upon meeting them for the first time. Where in this letter does it advise the parent of what they can do if they are innocent of CPS's allegations? It doesn't! It only advises a parent to cooperate with the CPS Social Workers. Should you be cooperating with the other party of a court case if you are not in the wrong? Where in this letter is the client being represented?
