The Class of 2020 has worked extremely hard for the past 13 years to reach one goal, graduating. Our Superintendent has decided to allow us to have 6 people attend our graduation, and only one student can graduate at a time. This is extremely difficult for students with big families and split families, as we do not want to choose which members can attend our high school graduation. Also, it is such late notice, that some students families will not be able to make the current graduation ceremony due to living in different state. 

   I, along with many members of the class of 2020, propose that the St. Clair County Board of Education consider waiting to announce graduation plans in hopes that we will be able to have a proper graduation ceremony in the summer months, which is what several surrounding schools are doing, including Leeds High School. 

   As the class of 2020, we have faced many tribulations that came with COVID-19. We want to receive the graduation that we deserve, and we want to graduate with our friends that we have grown up with. Please consider signing to help us reach our goal in getting a proper high school graduation.
