To stop dog fighting, we must make the shelters more strict for adoption.  In addition, any major violation against the potential adopter will not get the dog. There should be weekly checkups for the new owners. I am writing this petition because I want to stop the major issue of dog fighting. These dogs are being tortured and even killed while the owner is profiting from their pain. Something a person like you can do is to help the foundations that help these dogs.
