I went to see mom today. I took dad.

We saw her thru the window as she is finally back in her room. She couldn’t hold the phone or turn her head to see us thru the window.

I wish they would let me in to take care of my mother. 
I would give anything in the world to help her eat. I would love to give her manicures and pedicures and watch reruns of Jeopardy. She loved that show.
She has deteriorated so much since March. My heart is completely broken.

We are sitting by while our elderly die. We are fearful of them dying of covid but we are killing them because the only thing that matters to them has been taken away.
Employees are bringing covid in to the facilities. 
It’s barbaric.
Let’s just let that sink in for a moment.

They need their families.
Let families in to see the elderly before hospice is called.
