Students and athletes alike are in desperate need for “Student Sections” where students can show support for their classmates. Currently, a limited amount of spectators are allowed to attend sport venues. Students are not specifically included in these limited amount of spectators. Only 2 family members are permitted per athlete currently. Some athletes get little support and care from their family, but receive a lot of love and support from their classmates. This environment contributes to what makes athletes love their sport. Athletes may become depressed without this support and love from their peers. Lifetime memories are made in these environments and to just take that away from students is unfair. Memories that will last for life are being robbed from thousands of students. We understand that safety protocols must be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and are more than willing to follow any safety protocols just to attend and support their classmates. Students are begging to have these experiences one last time. Please consider our cause.
