Having Northside as a neighbor is acceptable but having their 78,000 sq. ft. proposed development in West Village is a disaster in the making for the Oakdale / West Village community.

As proposed, the Northside Medical center will require the majority of their 150 employees and untold patients to commute through West Village and over Oakdale Road. Our streets were not designed to handle this volume of traffic. We have 368 new residences under construction which will intensify rush hour traffic, not to mention the retail development planned for the corner of Pine St and Atlanta Rd. We are a walkable, family oriented community. Heavy traffic and operating hours of 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week does not work here, nor does a 3 acre parking lot at the edge of our community.

Help us by asking Northside to reconsider the design, reduce its size, reduce the negative traffic impact, and include development that benefits our community.
