Keep trains to Newcastle so that people who see Newcastle as their capital can still have a direct connection from the Hunter for all the attractions that our town has - beaches, harbour, leisure, business, health, law and education. Allow Newcastle to grow organically - the rail has worked for 150 years, let it be part of Newcastle's future. Don't turn us into a version of the "Gold Coast", Mr Premier, with your plans for NO rail and Tripling of the height limits of our old Town.
