Reduce waste at construction sites in Canberra

Reduce waste at construction sites in Canberra
The issue
Construction sites in Canberra use containers to purchase and contain building materials as they are in progress. But once the site is completed, the containers and plastic goes to waste. This issue can be resolved by reusing them.
A proposal will be sent to Bunnings around Canberra, addressing the issue and discussing a reliable and effective solution: large bins at their stores in which can be used to collect the containers once the user is finished with them.
Why sign this petition? The amount of waste around the globe needs to be minimised in order to stop water pollution, and other issues our waste causes. It is our duty as a society to clean up our mess, and can start with simple actions such as this. Reusing material is one way to reduce the amount of waste each year, and will bring us a step, no matter how small, forward to achieving this goal.
