Dear Parents

I am writing because I am concerned that teachers may be locked out of their google classroom should they refuse to return to in person over safety concerns on Monday 1/25/21. 

Reopening isn’t happening until Monday Feb 1. 

I do not want a new sub in my child’s remote learning for the week of 1-25-21 thru

1-29-21. This would disrupt their learning and routine. 

 

While the union and district work out their issues, our kids should not suffer as a result. 

I hope we can stand together to deliver our message to the principal and district that their disputes should not be interrupting our kids’ education. We have suffered enough with the pandemic, remote learning and now transition to hybrid. We do not need teachers locked out while they negotiate. 

I would prefer for next week if teachers do not feel safe for them to be allowed to teach remotely from 1/25/21 - 1/29/21.

Hola Padres:

Estoy escribiendo porque me preocupa que los maestros les van a bloquear del salón de google si no quieren entrar en persona sobre las precupaciones de seguridad en el lunes 25 de enero de 2021. 

Las escuelas van a abrir el lunes 1 de FEBRERO.

No quiero un sustituto para mi niño/niña en la semana del lunes 1/25/21 - 1/29/21. Esto le molestaría la rutina del aprendizaje en casa y educación.

En cuanto CTU y CPS arreglan su desacuerdo, nuestros niños no debieran sufrir como resultado. 

Espero que podamos reunirnos y proveer un mensaje a la directora y distrito que sus desacuerdos no debieran perturbar la educación de nuestros niños. Hemos sufrido tanto con la pandemia, el aprendizaje remoto y ahora la transición a hybrid. No necesitamos más inquietudes con los maestros estando bloqueados. 

Prefiero que para la semana de 1/25 - 1/29 que si los maestros no se sienten seguros que les dejen enseñar remoto esa semana.
