We’ve had massive response to the campaign over the weekend with 500+ signatures and lots of positive comments.

This isn’t about reducing pollution but giving everyone in the area a chance to escape the pollution for an hour or 2 on safe country roads by walking, cycling or running.

We mentioned in the campaign the levels of pollution (particularly Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)) - in the Moy exceeding the EU’s annual limit by over 50%.

This photograph might help explain better.
It shows the windowsill of our office in the Moy - it's rarely opened because of air/noise pollution. A few months back we opened it to clean the inside of the frame. The word “POLLUTION” is scraped into a solid black block of road emissions gathered inside the window frame. The people who live and work in Moy breath this in daily.
