Microsoft has made almost every og xbox title backwards compatible with the xbox one and above. This is very good as we can play all our old games without the need to purchase a secondhand console. Sadly both halo 2 and combat evolved are not backwards compatible with anything above the xbox 360 meaning that we cant play it without hunting down a secondhand console. This is bad because the versions of combat evolved playable on the xbox 1 are inferior to the original in terms of graphics and split-screen multiplayer plus some people might just want to play the game in its original form. So I ask why? Why are the only 2 og xbox games that people actually care about not backwards compatible with newer consoles. In my opinion the whole sentiment of "Microsoft is better then Sony because they care about backwards compatibility " is kind of stupid if they cant evan get their 2 most popular games to run on the new consoles. In conclusion I hope that you will support me in trying to convince Microsoft to add backwards compatibility for halo 1&2.
