The creator of Minecraft, Markus Persson is not invited to the 10th birthday of Minecraft. To put many years into creating a strong community for Minecraft and then to not attend the celebration of his efforts is morally incorrect, especially considering that Microsoft would not have ownership of Minecraft if it wasn't for Markus.

Markus Persson has made comments on recent changes to Minecraft within the updates they release, but that not should determine whether he is present for the celebration. Minecraft's birthday is a major celebration for both Microsoft and Mojang and as Markus was previously part of the team to create this game prior to selling it to Microsoft and should be invited to celebrate this occasion with everybody.
