In my home we discovered 3 perfectly working iOS and Android devices that we wanted to reset and gift to needy children. All of them are perfectly working devices but rendered useless by the artificial blockage by all tech majors “this app is not compatible with your device”. This is criminal. It forces the consumers to go in for new devices all the time and puts a lot of pressure on the environment. In addition I am sure there are millions of such devices in the closet of households that can be put into good use by the millions of pandemic affected school children to access their online classes, who could not do so as they could not afford such devices. Pls support this petition. We can seriously solve a problem if we get the tech majors to at least  make a lighter app work with older devices. It’s doable folks !! Let’s get into action.
