Brute Force remaster/reboot

The Issue

Brute Force is a game that's highly underrated and sure may not have had the mass appeal like some other original Xbox games. But I and along with only a small group of people in the grand scale of players wish to see it come back.

For the remaster some things need to be addressed with the small community to ask what we'd like. Here some things needing to be fixed for the remaster.

  • Balancing of characters in terms of stamina and health.
  • Better AI
  • Achievement support.
  • Timers for missions and times for missions on mission screen. This will provide some replayablility for those who like to do speedruns.
  • Better indicators of what to destroy or how to achieve gold medals in missions. Or a meter on the HUD to show how close.
  • Bots for multiplayer and multiplayer online support. With some balancing of teams and weapons.

Our hope is that if enough of us speak up that Microsoft will listen and bring it back in some way. Be it preferably remastered sort of in the vein of Voodoo Vince or Perfect Dark XBLA. Rebooted though would be nice and not sure which developer can do it justice. Though since The Coalition has experience in their TPS Gears of War they can probably do it.

For the reboot there several ideas that can be done for it. And just some I'd personally like to see.

  • More open world with other worlds to visit along the main story missions. While having the ship as a main hub with a lab to use DNA canisters for new squad mates. Armory to equip weapons for missions and maybe upgrade research in a tech lab to improve unique abilities.
  • A defined weapon system like physical bullets, ion, laser etc all with their own unique traits. Similar to Halo with Covenant and Human weapons doing better against shields and not so much respectively.

  • DLC characters or unlockable of Xbox exclusive characters or 3rd party ones. One possibly done is a COG from Gears of War with an Active Reload ability and General RAAM to use the kryll
