This vital federal legislation seeks to prohibit the abhorrent "sport" of using snowmobiles and other motorized vehicles to pursue and inflict a torturous death upon specifically coyotes and wolves for amusement. This discriminatory targeting of wild canines, driven by baseless hatred prevalent in states like Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana, is nothing less than a hate crime against wildlife and is not hunting – it is animal cruelty motivated by prejudice.
