Allow Aries Doberman Liberation Rescue to Continue

The Issue

We moved to to the City of Allegan Michigan in April 2013.  We are a 501c3 registered and State licensed non profit Doberman Rescue.

Since then we have saved and rehomed 30 dobermans.  Because of continued harassment from our next door neighbor, we received a letter from Michigan Township Services stating we can not have more than 3 animals in our home at one time or run a rescue from our home.  This neighbor has called the city on us for putting a fence up on our own property, and I was even told that I had to count a service dog as one of the numbered animals in the home.

We do all we can to educate about this beloved breed and save as many as we can.  We get them in, spay and neuter, get then up to date on their shots, microchip and find a great forever home for them.  We treat them as members of our own family as we do this.  They sleep on the couch as a pack during the day, in our bedroom at night and receive all the love they need until we find the right home for them.

Please sign this so that we can present it to the Mayor of our town to show that what we do is important and can be allowed to continue.

WE WILL FIGHT THIS!!!!!
