Michigan's Legislature is not doing its job. Only 10 states have full-time Legislatures, including Michigan. What are we getting for the $80,000 a year we pay lawmakers?

If other states can function with a part-time Legislature, Michigan can, too.

We propose making Michigan's lawmakers part-time, cutting their pay in half and eliminating their benefits.
