People with Down Syndrome are up to 10 times more likely to die from COVID-19, with a death rate that can approach 1 in 3 patients. I live in Michigan, and my daughter Olivia has Down Syndrome. She suffers from several health issues that are common with her condition. Right now, adults with Down Syndrome in Michigan like Olivia don't qualify to get the COVID vaccine. This tragic oversight must be corrected immediately.

Please join me in asking Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan legislature to move adults with Down Syndrome into group 1b. This action will save lives.
