We as a student body, both Deaf and hearing, are signing this petition because the Deaf program here at Skyline is IMPORTANT to all of us. Not only is it important to the students here, but it is necessary for the school. The Deaf and ASL programs allow both hearing and Deaf to become friends with one another and learn more about each other's culture. Skyline is a Deaf friendly school and the ASL and Deaf students have made great friends. We have had nothing but great experiences because of this program. Moving the Deaf IS and NEVER will be an idea we approve of. We are a Deaf community, We are Skyline, We are One.
