With crime on the rise and parking being sparse. Why is our neighborhood only parking by permit between 6pm and Midnight and in some places 6pm to 9:30am? Living close to Clark and Halsted so many people take up parking when they should be paying to park to visit local businesses, clubs, and other night life. It’s become excessive that people drive down here and park in our neighborhood and leave their trash wherever they feel. I was recently assaulted and I think incidents like this could be avoided if we had 24 hour parking permits. Please join me in petitioning our alderman to stricken the parking requirements in our neighborhood.
