This law is important to be changed because it has four juveniles convicted as adults for murder for 45-55 years that they did not commit. This was and is an unjust and uncruel punishment. These juveniles were not even armed. It is important that the law be changed to at least differentiate between juveniles and adults nor should it be at the descretion of the prosecutor to enforce the adult waiver on these kids, they were not even aloud a second chance.

    There should also be limited or no media coverage due to the adversely impact on the case, because I have learned first hand it can condemn a case before the end is even over based off the untrue facts reported in the media. As well as even posting their mug shots. Seems like it depends recently in Elkhart County theres no consistency in case charges or mug shot postings. Curtis Hill needs to be exposed for his unjustly lack of inforcements. I guess it would be easy to go after 16 year olds instead of adults.

     "So it's never too late for a new start". So abolish the felony murder law and allow the Elkhart 4 a new start.
