I forgot to leave an explanation out as to why it's not right and my reason is because first I had unsupervised visits and I brought my daughters to the to this Halloween thing we ran into this social worker and her children ran up to my baby and I asked her how they know my baby and she said the lady that she placed my baby at baby sets for her and is a high school friend okay well I brought that up to her supervisor and nothing was done not only that but I gave the social worker three family members names numbers all the contact info she needed and they had their foster care license and weren't even looked at she went with her friend okay then I find out that this deal I wanted a transfer of custody to her aunt and uncle who were one of them people that was supposed to be contacted for my child they were denied the right to adopt as well as all family members and instead the day before my trial my lawyer has all come in and says that he got me the deal that he said I would never get and he had me sign when I thought was a transfer of custody here it was a voluntary termination of parental rights now with the termination of parental rights it has to be signed in front of the judge it has to the judge has to question me about it and I have to agree to all questions and then my rights can be terminated I sign that paper in the back room where you meet with your lawyer and thought my child was going to her aunt and uncle kept calling my lawyer he said wild things take time and I just had a feeling something was going on so I kept calling and calling and calling and here I find out that it was a termination of parental rights now why wasn't my child being placed with family even after my rights were terminated because my lawyer is good friends with their family these people are high you know they got high ties in the community and I don't I'm up here alone my family is down in the cities I mean they took advantage of my ignorance of the law also my baby was due to be home for good and my case would have been closed a week after Halloween Halloween her dad shows up you know and because I did not call the police because there's domestic history between us they took my rights took my visits took everything I haven't seen my daughter coming up on a year I wasn't going to do anything like call the police to set him off especially if there's a domestic history I don't know what you know he would have done so I did what I felt was in the best interest of my child and for me to and against Minnesota state statute says that you cannot take a child away from a victim of domestic violence so there they if I got to follow these laws so do they I'm going to make sure they do
