Chief Meteorologist  Jim Van Fleet was unjustly  fired by Tegna Corporation. He was escorted out of the building by Security. This has been an ongoing issue with Corporate  Suits and the following story  has been verified by a source.

The Tampa area needs Jim Van Fleet back, he is the most accurate forecaster in the Tampa Bay area and our weather is so unpredictable that this statement is saying a lot!

Our local businesses  rely on accurate daily forecasts from him.

Hurricanes and Tropical weather is something I rely on him for.

Jim has a passion for weather and we listen to him because he is spot on and when Jim tells us to board up, evacuate or just watch a Storm.
