My brother Graham died on the 9th on June 2015, five days after he was knocked off his bicycle by the driver of a Kia motor car on a road outside Wallingford in Oxfordshire He was returning from London after a business meeting, it was a nice day he decided to cycle to the next village Cholsey to get the train to central London returning later that day, he left the railway station to return home cycling outside of the village and on to a mile long straight road known as Wallingford road .He was hit halfway down this road with such impact that his heart stopped beating ,he was later resuscitated by the paramedics but died at the  Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford .A woman has been charged with Death by careless driving while under the influence and reported her car stolen after the hit and run. Although charged last September she is still free on tag to this present day even though she pleaded guilty on the 23rd December to Death by careless driving and perverting the course of justice by reporting her car stolen . Mr Greg Mulholland (Lib Dem, Leeds North West) has presented his Criminal Driving (Justice for Victims) Private Members’ Bill in the House of Commons on January 12. It was backed by 31 MPs and will next be heard on March 11th.which we hope will be the end of lenient treatment of drivers.

Please support and forward this petition to as many people as possible to ensure this bill is a success for our family and dozens more across the UK who feel badly let down by lenient sentences given to killer drivers.
