Name SI ferry after NYPD hero

The Issue

Edward del Pino was a retired NYC Police Officer, who on July 7, 1986 disarmed and subdued a male who killed 2 people and injured 9 others on a Staten Island bound ferry. Mr. del Pino's brave and selfless act saved lives that day. Edward del Pino served as a NYC Police Officer from 1959 to 1982. He was assigned to the 120 precinct in Staten Island. Mr. del Pino passed away in 1999. Please help us name a Staten Island ferry after a true local hero, who put his life on the line to protect the passengers of the ferry, as well as the people of NYC!
