Well, it contains gelatin as one of the ingredients. 

We need to have Planters Peanuts cease and desist immediately from using gelatin from contaminating a wholly plant based product and use an appropriate substitute for whatever purpose the gelatin is used. It is ridiculous to have to read labels for products that have no reason to be other than plant based.
