Justice for Hannah Fizer

Hannah Fizer, 25, was driving to work on the night of June 13th when a traffic stop led to her death. A Pettis County deputy stopped Hannah for running a red light and claims that Hannah became belligerent and threatened him with a gun. Because of this “threat” the deputy shot Hannah, who died shortly afterwards. From the word of Hannah’s family, friends and coworkers, Hannah did not own a gun nor would use such force against anyone. The investigators at the scene didn't find a gun, and unfortunately there is no body cam or dash cam footage. The only word left is that of the unnamed Deputy who has been placed on paid administrative leave.

John Fizer, Hannah’s father, has had no luck getting answers from Sheriff Kevin Bond. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating this incident, although it seems to be a clear example of police misconduct. Hannah’s boyfriend, James Johnson, told news sources that Hannah was unarmed when she left for work Saturday night.

Please share this petition to get the attention of Sheriff Kevin Bond, the Pettis County Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol to make it clear that the family can not sit and wait for answers. This unnamed Deputy cannot justify deadly force against Hannah, and he does not deserve paid leave. Please give Hannah Fizer the justice she deserves.
