Firstly BIG thank you to the almost 90,000 people who have now signed the petition. It's amazing to see how many people are enthusiastic about helping to stop this growing environmental problem. I'm just letting you guys know that what you've all done is not going unnoticed. Huffington Post has written an article about the campaign and said that "Calls are growing for the introduction of a 5p charge on disposable coffee cups to combat huge numbers ending up in landfill sites." Very exciting stuff! Because of the traction this is getting now the campaign could do with being mentioned to the people at the top. ***We want you*** to write/email to your local MP and tell them how much of a great idea this is and see if they can go and actually change the law.
