The purpose of this petition is to get John Fogerty's unreleased solo album Hoodoo made. The more that sign I'm hoping it gets John's attention. Wish it luck and Godspeed to all.

John if you read this I beg you to go back into the studio and make this album right, you can do it John. John Fogerty's unreleased solo album Hoodoo was recorded in the Spring of 1976. John intended it to be his 3rd solo album. The album was complete to the point of the album art and jacket were done. There was even a single that rose from the album, it is called "You Got the Magic" and the B side "Evil Thing" two great songs. For whatever reason at the last minute John pulled the plug on the project and instructed the record company Asylum to destroy the master tapes. Some actual copy's did get out and even more bootleg copies have resurfaced on CD and LP. My opinion is that the album simply did not meet John Fogerty's high standards. Perhaps it's because the songs together on this one album were inconsistent. Maybe it's simply not the right song arrangement for one album.The album is not great, but if done today it would be remarkable, I truly believe this. I'm asking John to take on the project for nothing more than for his fans. Take the album out from the dark and mysterious folklore and bring it to light.
