Kids are slowly losing more and more of their ability to just be kids.  Home Learning has become more of a chore and an uphill battle than a learning process.   I believe it should be clearly stated to all schools that students should not  have more than 1 hour of Home Learning per night as an accumulation of all classes.  If given a worksheet, then online interactive programs (iready, reflex math) should not be given as well.   It should be either one or the other.  Kids should be able to participate in after school activities and have family time.  Today's reality barely allows for this to be the case and students and parents are just BURNED OUT!  I also believe there should be no Home Learning given on Friday's or Holiday breaks.  Kids deserve a break just like we deserve our breaks from work.
