Tropical Park's Racquetball courts serve as a meeting ground for a diverse group of individuals and players from around the Miami-Dade county.Tropical Park has hosted Racquetball Tournaments for decades and has been the center of a community of local  Racquetball players for over 40 years.

Regrettably, we have been informed that half the Racquetball Courts in Tropical Park will be removed as soon as Sunday.  This news comes as a shock to us. This petition is being made to suspend the demolition of the Racquetball Courts, a process that will be more expensive then designating two of the Tennis Courts for Pickleball.  Removing half of our courts will be a devastating blow to our local community. A group that has been playing together for over 30 years and that has hosted Tournaments at a local, state, and national level. These courts are home to some of the best Outdoor Racquetball players in the Nation.

This petition is being created as a way to give our community a voice, we must fight for Racquetball and to save the Community we have created, we want to be heard and make it known that we do not agree with removing four courts to have two Pickleball courts. This petition aims to suspend the demolition of the courts until a solution can be made on where to make the courts.
