Today, the Third District Court of Appeal reversed a decision by the trial court which dismissed a lawsuit by the Town of Miami Lakes against the City of Hialeah, Miami-Dade County, and others, relating to the NW 170th Street Bridge. However, this win for Miami Lakes does not mean the fight is over. It will now return to the trial court for further proceedings. 

What does this mean for the NW 154th Street Bridge?

With this reversal, one of the bargaining chips that Hialeah and the County were using to pressure the Town of Miami Lakes for opening the NW 154th Street Bridge has, at least temporarily, gone away.
