Save Calusa Caravan and Update

Here is the latest update on everything related to Save Calusa!

Calusa Caravan: Join us Tuesday August 11! We will meet between 6-6:30pm at Calusa Elementary School and setup for our drive around the golf course! Spread the word, everyone is invited! Let’s make some noise and let our community know we are not done fighting to keep our 99-year Covenant on our 168-acres of green space in the heart of Calusa!

Public Hearing: July 23 was the first VIRTUAL public zoning hearing. Since March, all zoning hearings were cancelled due to COVID. Calusa has not YET been added to an agenda. The next possible date is Sept 24 and we will be watching the agenda closely to see if Calusa is on it. As soon as we know more, we will post another update.
