ACTION ALERT: We need concerned residents to email letters of protest to the County! There is still time!

The County will include the letters as an official number of "protests" on file! Please talk about whatever your concerns are, and how they affect your family personally. Some suggested areas of focus:
-traffic concerns
-schools: how Calusa and Arvida are at capacity right now they say that's ok because there is lots of room in the Hammocks to accommodate new students there!
-how quality of life will be significantly diminished
-the importance of green space
-the lack of community input
-the lack of community benefits
-wildlife concerns given that Fish and Wildlife have not provided consultation and the environmental studies provided are not complete

We need to remind commissioners that they are the ones that represent us in this decision, and they have the opportunity to do the right thing.

Submit letters via email to Thomas.Gomez@miamidade.gov and district7@miamidade.gov and mention your strong opposition to Z2021000031 in the first line so it is recorded properly.

Remember there is a Virtual Community Town Hall Sunday Oct 17th at 7pm where you can ask questions and we will give tips on the format of the public hearing, how to register etc.
