Look at the Nov 4, 1994 report on this list when Aventura, Sunny Isles and Pinecrest were being considered as new municipalities, just as Westchester (at that time including FIU and Tamiami Park) was. Currently, Aventura has a lower total millage rate while Sunny Isles and Pinecrest have higher total millage rates. On the most recent report from 2015:
- Section 2.2.1 (PDF page 25) recommends no incorporation can occur for Tropical Park.
- Section A-22 (PDF page 135) defines the Community of Interest (COI) #22 for University Park and Westchester, NORTH of Bird Road.
- Section A-25 (PDF page 138) defines the COI #25 for Westwood Lakes and Olympia Heights, SOUTH of Bird Road.
- Section B-19 (PDF page 168) shows Ernest Thomas, the original Treasurer, Chairman and Registered Agent of the Political Committee, Friends of Tropical Park, attended the West Dade Public Input Meeting on March 24, 2015.
