Neighbors, be AWARE!

There have been reports that the pro-incorporation forces are already going home to home with their campaign, knocking on people's doors asking people if they agree or not with the incorporation, and asking them to sign a paper with no information on it. DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPER!

There is also a report of a a man going door to door passing flyers out. He was also asking for signatures of Westchester residents to have the decision put on the ballot for the upcoming elections. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING! 

Also, there are other reports of people receiving a SurveyMonkey survey via email from the email address analytics305@gmail.com or via text, on their phones, asking them about their feelings about the services in their community and on incorporating Westchester. The sender or organization sending the survey via email/cell phone is not being identified. We do not know if this person/organization is affiliated to any politician. DO NOT COMPLETE this survey!

Be aware, that the pro-incorporation group has the money to push their campaign full of lies and scare tactics. This fight is ours to win, we will have the numbers to defeat it at the polls. For those who read the New Times article that was posted in this platform, the Biscayne Gardens fight over incorporation lasted 17 yrs. The article stated, "When Biscayne Gardens attempted incorporation, its MAC began meeting in 2004 but the issue didn't appear before voters until the special election last November, in 2021, which cost the county nearly $100,000." Biscayne Gardens persevered and won this fight over incorporation. No matter how long it takes, we will too!!
