MI Silver Alert petition update

Thank you so very much for supporting the petition to bring a Silver Alert to MI. We have just over 500 signatures. However, there have been over 3,600 views.

Let's continue to share and promote. Although I have reached out to legislators, Neil Friske and John DaMoose, I have not heard back from either. 

Consider this, call comes in to 911 at 3:30pm. Law enforcement respond to investigate and initiate a local alert at 4:40pm. However, someone saw the missing person at 4:30pm. Subject has now been missing for 14 days. If a Silver Alert had gone out, people would have been notified in a timely manner, likely resulting in a recovery of the subject that evening.

Silver Alerts can and do save lives!!
