My name is Layla R. and I'm in third grade. I started a club at my school with my activist classmates to contact MGA Entertainment to demand they use more sustainable materials to package kids' toys. Our goal is to make kids think about how much plastic companies use to package toys. We will write to MGA Entertainment about how much plastic they use in packaging toys like LOL Dolls and Poopsies and ask them to promise to reduce plastic and use materials that can be recycled and that are better for the environment. One rule of our club is to stop buying these toys, so the company will know we mean business and want change. When kids go to the store, we want them to think about how the toys both we and our parents buy are ruining our environment. All the big toy companies use too much plastic and when we ask our parents to buy these toys, our money goes to the companies. So join us and sign this petition that we will show to MGA Entertainment. And next time you go to the toy section think "Do I really want to buy this toy from a company that uses this much non-recyclable plastic?" "NO!" So buy toys that are environmentally friendly. MGA Entertainment doesn't care about our environment so let's stop giving MGA our money to demand change!
