Lalaloopsy dolls are beloved toys by both girl and boy children. Their sweet rag doll-like faces and fun-themed styles make these dolls addictive to both children and adult collectors. There's only one problem: most dolls are female. In fact, only four full size male dolls exist and one male little, in the mini line there are three different boys not featured in the full size line along with the same male dolls from the full size line, and even in tinies line the same few boys are remade. It's been such a long time since a new boy doll was released, it is said male dolls didn't have the sales that female dolls did but if you were to look at resale on Ebay the boy dolls are so much more valuable to bidders than the female dolls.

On another note, my little boy loves playing with the male Lalaloopsy dolls, there's brave knight Battlescarred, funny pirate Patch, handyman Ace, and a woodsman called Forest. Matey is the younger brother of doll Marina and that's about as far as the male dolls go that he wants to play with. My daughter also wonders out loud very often why there aren't any more male dolls to collect, as do people in fan groups and on the official page. It's a need that collectors have.

I understand sales weren't great for the male dolls the first time around but the popularity of the Lalaloopsy dolls is ever-growing, and isn't it time to try again? There's so many female Lalaloopsy dolls, they need dance partners, love interests, male friendships. Little boys out there love these dolls as well. The Lalaloopsy line is constantly growing and changing, adding exciting new dolls and concepts all the time. This is just one more new, exciting thing that we can invest in.

Let's show MGA that there is a demand for the male dolls and we want to see more of them made to add to the collection!
