Many of the community were looking forward to the opening of the Mythos Restaurant in Meyersdal, sadly now many have heavy hearts.
There is a family of feral cats that live in the parking area of Meyersdal Mall that have been there for approximately 10 years. Most patrons to the Mall aren't even aware of them as they are wild and afraid of people. The cats are sterilized and are fed by caring women that come around late at night or early hours of the morning to drop off food. These animals have been abandoned and were offered a little kindness by caring people.  Sadly, since the opening of the Restaurant, the feeding station and beds have been removed and the SPCA have been called in to trap and remove the cats. They will be euthanized.
