Ian Stowe started this petition to Mets fans

We New Yorkers, and more specifically Mets fans, have the unique privilege and pleasure of watching Mets games accompanied by the greatest broadcasting booth in the history of baseball. SNY appears to want to detract from this experience with their introduction of a K-zone: a superimposed video game-like rectangle that supposedly indicates the strike zone to TV viewers. We Mets fans do not want nor need this addition. It is unhelpful and distracting. Anyone who knows anything about baseball knows that the strike zone is not immutable but rather changes from umpire to umpire, batter to batter and pitcher to pitcher. To treat it as such is to do a grave disservice to the viewer. More technology is not always better. Just because you CAN implement something does not mean that you SHOULD. Mets fans are baseball purists, unlike the fans of many other franchises. We watch for the love of the game and to enjoy the banter of Gary, Keith and Ron. I wonder if there was ever any demand for this to begin with. I implore SNY to do better. To be better. I know the real fans within the organization would agree. This is a mistake that can and should be rectified and I look forward to its resolution. Thank you
