MTA will provide shuttle buses!

We did it, friends. At 6am tomorrow, shuttle bus service will begin as elevators close at the 181st. St. (A) train station. There will also be TWO work shifts daily, which will speed the project greatly. The MTA is continuing to work on our final request of additional staffing at the 181st St. and Ft. Washington Ave. I thank you for your advocacy. Together, we demanded what our community needs to ensure transit equity during these elevator closures. The MTA has listened to our collective voice and given us their guarantee that our community will have shuttle bus service. My office and I will work with the other elected officials to continue to ensure that the MTA does right by our community. Please stay tuned for additional updates.
