West Ham United footballer Kurt Zouma is shown in a video taken by his brother, kicking a defenceless cat across the room like a football. He is then shown slapping it in the face. The metropolitan police have announced publicly that they will not be investigating despite two clear criminal offences captured on video and an admission of guilt from the player himself. 
This comes mere months after government announced it’s plans on reforming animal welfare and in particular becoming much more strict in how we deal with offenders guilty of animal cruelty. The decision made by the Met goes against this action and sends out the very bad message that if you choose to cause pain and suffering to defenceless animals for your own amusement then the law will stand back and allow it.

Please sign this petition to encourage the Met to reverse their decision and prosecute Kourt Zouma and do not allow this cruel criminal act to be brushed under the carpet.
