In May of 2018, D'Quan Young was shot and killed by an off-duty police officer in Washington D.C. Two years later the family of Young has yet to receive any information about the officer that killed their beloved family member. Metropolitan police chief released, during a press conference, that the officer involved in the slaying of D'Quan Young was held on administrative leave. Now in 2020, the police officer is no longer on administrative leave but instead has been reinstated and continues to work full-time on the metropolitan police force.
