Thank you to all who texted, emailed and called Council members!  We did it!  It was especially meaningful as it lost on second reading and didn’t even make it to third reading.  Our work isn’t over, and we still need to make sure the land is turned over to Metro Parks.  We will be working on that in the days to come. For now, we’re celebrating and dancing in our bare feet! 

We will post the vote tomorrow so we can thank the Councilmembers who helped us.
